champagne and sequins: how'd we do?

This year's Champagne and Sequins. Was it the best year ever? Let's review what we did right:
The addition of the Family Dinner Band was VERY well received. What a wonderful moment.
BUT. When we get right down to it, something was missing.
Oh well. It was fun! We will just have to try again next year!!! Thanks for coming!!

bub city: test run.

Last night we went to Bub City. Practice run before they opened. It. Was. AMAZING. It looked great, food was awesome and most importantly, as you can see under that beer can American flag, they have frozen drinks! Currently, a Mexican Firing Squad is being slowly rotated around. And it is hands down the best drink I have ever had in my whole life. We enjoyed several.
They also have several Paul McGee hand selected whiskeys. We tried a couple. I will stick to trying to climb into the frozen tequila machine, but everyone else loved them.
We got real on the food.

And in enjoying the country decor and music.
And THEN, we got real on the surveys.
Timmy Watson wore his peacoat. My favorite of his winter looks. Look at that cutest face.
Check it out over at Paul McGee's Blog HERE!

a very martha (shelby) thanksgiving.

For the first time EVER, I had nothing to do on Thanksgiving. Which was great, since there was TONS to do! We went to Shelby and Paul's place where we ate and ate and ate and then watched the latest Shrek. It was the best.

re: dates - fat radish in nyc

My little valentine hailed us a limo the first night we got there to take us to our dinner at Fat Radish.  This place was amazing.  They had this cauliflower pot pie...again it somehow disappeared before I could get a camera out.

We took this picture to send to our friend Alan.  That jerk was out of town while we were there, but Fat Radish was his recommendation and he killed it.

new york dates!

We went to New York a couple weekends back and man alive a great time was had.  Lots of dates and coffees and hand holding.  Weather was beautiful and we got to see a few friends.  We were headed to Soho to do some shopping and with the amount of shopping we do we needed some fuel for sure.  We stumbled on Pulinos on Bowery and it was amazing!

She is the prettiest...

Got a picture of the menu, but I ate all the pizza before I could get a photo.

New Museum across the street-ish...cool rose, New Museum!
