For some reason that little bit of forest green paint you could see in the sun room drove me crazy. We used to paint our scary basement floor that color. Shudder.
SO! A change is needed. It bothered NO ONE else, so it was all my project.
Timmy helped me gather supplies. He says my form is excellent.
Coat one. Break. Coat two. Looked like a crazy swimming pool.
AND! Done. Easy peasy. We laid down our FLOR tiles and project- checked off.
We are following a plan that Dean helped lay out for us. She da best.

welcome home, pirate ship chandelier!
Timmy and I threw a teeny, tiny dinner party to welcome this newest addition to our dining room. Pirate Ship Chando! I've wanted it since the moment and I saw it and in the topsy turvy, can-i-have-it-please, i have cash?, oh everyone else hates it, world of the Merchandise Mart it is now. MINE. We showed it how we do with a winter menu: tomato cashew soup, packet fish, gratin.
My favorite soda is Diet Coke! What's a pirate's favorite soft drink? AARRGGGHHH-C Cola.
Ha.

target: present bows!
Never been much of a napkin ring girl. Are napkins just so unruly and unpredictable that you need to strap them into a little tiny ring that barely fits the silverware let alone the napkin? AND YET. I would love these on a festive holiday. I think I am so drawn to them because they remind me of this Maison Martin Margiela ring I loved so well:

whitewashed.
I really, really love turtle shells. I just found bleached shells at Jaysons for a tiny fortune. Especially since I want only the big ones. Too pretty though, yeah?
Or what about someone golden shells? I would like those too. I thought I wanted these paper-mache ones from West Elm, but not after I realized there were real ones to be had.
Jaysons Sun-Bleached Turtle Shell, $85 or $150 depending on size.
West Elm Paper-Mache Tortoise Shell, $79.

wish i was...
I am stuck in PA. For work. I miss Timmy and my house and my Marmie Bear. Also, tonight is ladies and manicures night. And little ole Mols is in PA with the Real Housewives and Game of Thrones on audio book. The manicures are from a ladies/manicures at Ally's place a few weeks back. Check Shelby's super sweet black and gold glitter explosion. AH-maaaaazing. Too good. After that we had dinner at my place. Giant salad and a pizza that was long gone before I got a shot. We made it. I was quite proud. Boo. On the upside, I get to take a hottest shower ever with unlimited water from hotel sized water heaters. Ultimate luxury.
